It’s been an incredibly difficult year. And I KNOW I am not the only one.
In business, I thought it was hard when I was getting it off the ground.
I thought once the revenue comes in, it's gonna be so amazing.
Now I find it hysterical.
The amount of responsibility and pressure.
The amount of opinions about YOU, your brand, your pivots.
The amount of criticism.
The amount of guilt and shame that was brought up around some of my clients’ struggles.
I acknowledge and applaud everyone who keeps going and did not implode their business (which most people do).
Here's some things I learned from it:
There were MANY times this year I said, "What am I doing this for? I just want to be with Lexi.”
A couple times I dreamed about shutting it all down and getting a day job.
Like a librarian or something. lol.
Is it just me, or did you think about quitting too???
The second half of 2021 has been especially crazy... but here is what it is.
It's transformation.
It's realignment.
It's purification.
It's telling the truth to ourselves.
LETTING THE OLD DIE.
Yes. It's about the death of everything we have outgrown.
It's the final days of 2021.
What are you letting die in 2021? What are you NOT taking with you?
